The problem
Single-purpose questions that people currently answer by searching the web badly.
Someone standing at a washing machine with an unfamiliar garment does not want an app ecosystem. They want to know whether it can go in the dryer. Someone whose plant is dying wants to know what it is and how often to water it.
These are complete questions with complete answers. The current answer is a web search that returns a listicle with an ad in it.
What makes them different

Laundry symbols are a fixed, finite set — reading them is a solved problem that costs nothing and works with no signal. There's no subscription because none could be justified.

No account, no onboarding, no feed, no streak. You came for one thing, you get it, you leave.
Free and ad-free
A five-second utility shouldn't have an ad in it. These exist to be genuinely useful and to introduce people to the rest of what we build.

Plant Pulse — camera to plant identification to a care profile, a watering schedule with reminders, a plant list with photos, and a "last watered" widget.
