About
Apple people, for Apple problems.
MacDaddy TechSolutions is a Jacksonville, Florida consultancy built around one thing: making Apple technology work properly for people who depend on it.
Sixteen years, one platform
Most IT shops support Apple grudgingly — it's the platform they handle because a client asked, not the one they know. We went the other way. Sixteen-plus years working with Apple hardware and macOS, and it's still all we do.
That specialization is the whole value. When something odd happens on a Mac, the difference between a two-hour diagnosis and a ten-minute fix is usually whether the person looking at it has seen it before.
From break-fix to building software
We're also a registered Apple Developer with apps published on the App Store. That started as a way to build tools we needed, and became a service in its own right — custom iOS and macOS software for businesses whose workflow doesn't fit anything off the shelf.
It also makes us better at the support work. Understanding how Apple software is built, signed, sandboxed, and distributed means we understand why it breaks.
Who we work with
- Small businesses with a handful of Macs and no IT department
- Home offices and independent professionals who can't afford downtime
- Growing teams that have outgrown configuring laptops by hand
- Individual Mac users with a problem that needs someone who actually knows the platform
How we work
On-site across the Jacksonville area when hands-on is faster, remote when it isn't. You won't wait on a drive time for something that could have been solved in ten minutes over a screen share.
We don't publish a price list, because the honest answer to "what does it cost?" depends on what's actually wrong. So we ask first, then quote. You approve the number before any work happens — no surprises on an invoice.
Straight answers
You'll be told what's wrong in language you can repeat to someone else. If a repair isn't worth the money, we'll say so. If the problem is simpler than you feared, we'll tell you that too, even when it makes for a smaller invoice. That's the part that earns the next call.
